Day One:

16:11
After months of build up and over twenty applicants for The Sims: Big Brother, housemate Emma from Preston is the first of eight to enter into the house.
Emma: Wow, this place looks great. Oh, it's huge, this is fantastic!

The second housemate to enter is Gemma from Lancaster.
Gemma: Hi, I'm Gemma.
Emma: Oh, I'm Emma. Hi there.
Gemma: Similar names. Wow, look at this house. It's huge.
Emma: I know, it's amazing.

The final housemate to enter is Renee from Dublin, Ireland.
Renee: Hello, I'm Renee.
Josh: I'm Josh, hi there.
Renee: This is a big house, bigger then mine anyway.
Josh: I know, and they got a party table set up for us too.

As a welcome to the housemates, Big Brother has set up an introductory party.
Matt: Look at all this food, it's amazing.
Genie: Big Brother loves us!
Leon: You'll regret saying that later on.
Renee: I'm having a bit of that cake.
Matt: Oh wow, save some for me.

The housemates get to know each other.
Gemma: I'm into all music, all's good.
Genie: Really, I don't think it's that great.
Matt: Does anyone here like wrestling?
Genie: Not into exercise either.
Matt: It's a sport though, and it's so cool.
Renee: Not sure if it's my thing either.
Matt: You're all girls though.

Leon: Not really a sport though. Who likes football? That's a real sport.
Josh: Yeah, that's cool.
Matt: I suppose it's OK.
Emma: Do you really not like exercise.
Genie: No, not really. It's not my thing.
Emma: I should show you my training routine, you'll enjoy it.

As there are two bedrooms in the house, Genie, Gemma and Leon are discussing who should have what room.
Genie: Are we having girls and boys rooms?
Leon: Does it matter, it's not in the rules.
Gemma: This rooms nicer, I'm in here.
Leon: We can all choose who wants what bed then just get on with it.

The housemates start drinking from the bar.
Emma: Good load of booze here.
Renee: It won't last long, especially not with me, I'm Irish.
Emma: Really? I thought Renee was more of a French name.
Renee: Probably, but that's my name.

20:46
The housemates have been drinking for an hour and are now in the living room. Matt and Genie are cuddling on the sofas.
Matt: So what else are you into?
Genie: Travelling, partying. You?
Matt: Wrestling, entertaining people...
Genie: Cool, sorry about earlier.
Matt: It's fine, we're all different.

Josh and Gemma are admiring the flamingos.
Gemma: They look really cool, do you think they'll do anything whilst we're here?
Josh: What, like move around?
Gemma: Yeah, or play some part in this?
Josh: Maybe. I hope that scarecrow doesn't, that head is scary.
Gemma: And the camera on it's shoulder.

Emma, Leon, Renee and Jonathon go for a swim in the pool.
Jonathon: Is the water warm?
Emma: It's lovely, get in.
Leon: This pool is quite big, not that deep though.
Jonathon: Probably why there's no diving board.

23:11
All except Matt and Genie are in bed.
Matt: Are there any double beds free?
Genie: You're coming on strong.
Matt: But I quite like you, we'll be popular if we sleep together.
Genie: Yeah, if. Just not now.
Matt: Why not? We've got something.
Genie: Look, just not now, OK?
