Day Seventeen:

10:01
Yesterday, Renee and Leon were put up for eviction by Josh. The nominees are asleep.
Genie: How are you feeling this morning?
Josh: OK, I suppose. I think I'll relax on the sofas until the nomination call out.
Genie: No Josh, don't be negative. Lets go chill out in the garden, do something.
Josh: Fine, I'll go.

The vegetable garden has been cornered off from the house as it will play part in todays task and cannot be interfiered.
Genie: What's all this about?
Josh: Well I wouldn't have done gardening anyway. There must be a reason.
Genie: Well I thought you could sit here whilst I did a little work.

Genie and Josh sit on the Swinging Chair.
BB: Housemates, todays nomination call out will be in one hour.
Josh: Great, two housemates to hate me.
Genie: Why do you think they'll hate you?
Josh: It's just the way that some of them have been talking it's all a bit scary.
Genie: I'll be there for you Josh, it's OK.

The housemates are gathered round the sofas to hear who's up for eviction.
BB: The housemates up for eviction are... Leon... and Renee.
Jon: That's cool, a week that I'm not up.
Genie: Everyone OK?
Renee: Sure, I think I know why.
Leon: First time up, not good at all.

13:11
The housemates are relaxing in the garden.
Renee: It be quite bad if there's only one girl left in here. How'd you feel Genie?
Genie: I wouldn't mind too much.
BB: This is Big Brother, will one housemate please come to the Diary Room.
Josh: I'll go as I'm up.
Renee: Sure Joshy, go for it.

Josh comes to the Diary Room.
Josh: What's up Big Bro?
BB: Josh, please make your way into the Changing Room.
Josh: Oh gosh, is this punishment?
BB: Please go to the Changing Room.
Josh: Fine, whatever.

13:36
The housemates have been given a punishment task. A chequers game has been set up with four housemates as the back pieces. Josh will decide the move-ments of the oppositions pieces and will have to move the non-housemate pieces. If a housemate is eliminated then they will receive punishment.

13:48
The game rules state that if a piece can be taken out, it must do so. Josh must now eliminate either Jon or Genie.
Josh: Sorry Jon, but Genie's been really great to me lately, you're going to have to go. Hope it's not a bad punishment.
Jonathon: Try and eliminate someone else, I'm not doing this alone.

14:02
When a housemate is eliminated, they must sit on the bench. Genie has made it to the other side and will not face punishment with Josh. The task is now over.
BB: Will all losing housemates please go to the garden for your punishment.
Leon: Thanks Josh, you've done well.
Josh: Sorry, see you guys later.

The housemates punishment is to harvest what food they can from the garden and begin planting seeds on new ground. They must all weed and water the land.
Leon: He fixed it to eliminate me for the same reasons he nominated me.
Jon: Now he's got the house with Genie.
Renee: Don't get love paranoid again.

15:22
Genie comforts Josh over the task.
Genie: It must have been so hard for you to make those decisions. It's so unfair.
Josh: I know, it's good you managed to get through though. I need your comfort.
Genie: You need it, I wonder what the punishment is. Shame we can't look.
Josh: We'll find out soon enough.

17:06
The losing housemates have completed their task and deliver their stock to the Store Room. Jon sees Genie and Josh hug.
Jon: I had a feeling this would happen.
Genie: He just needs a bit of comfort, he's going through a hard time Jon.
Jon: So you do it behind my back then.
Genie: I did it whilst I could, don't do this.

Jonathon talks to Josh about earlier.
Jon: I just want to make it clear to you...
Josh: Is this about me and Genie?
Jonathon: Yes but let me finish...
Josh: I know what it is, if Genie wants to comfort me then let her be the kind woman she is. You've known each other two weeks so don't say you're both a loving couple.

Jon is taking a bath. Genie is also in the Red Bathroom, talking about Josh.
Genie: Please don't threaten Josh over such silly things Jon. He's need my help.
Jonathon: And I need you there for me.
Genie: I am, I'm here for you now.
Jonathon: For forgiveness over Josh.
Genie: Stop getting like nice Jon, please.

Josh and Genie talk about Jonathon.
Josh: So how'd it go in there?
Genie: He's still being his stubborn self.
Josh: He's such a difficult person, what are we going to do about him?
Genie: He'll come out soon, we need to try and get some time alone tomorrow. There might be a task tomorrow, we'll try then.

All housemates are going to bed.
Genie: I don't want anymore stubborn behaviour from you or we're finished, OK.
Jonathon: Well stop being so touchy with him. Leon or Renee haven't threathened him so he's fine. He doesn't need you anymore.
Genie: This has to stop Jon, there are other men and women in this world.
