View The House: The house for this series is taking a very different approach to how its been structured in previous shows. Gone is the large living space and privacy, and it's in with cramped, more open conditions. The housemates will have a very unique entrance into the house, entering via car straight into the houses garage, not even getting the chance to breathe that last breath of fresh air. Once inside the house, they will see an upper-decking seating area to their left, then next to it is a door to the green themed Diary Room. Going circular round the house we come across the dining area, with glass tables and a giant wall light, then there's a traditional style kitchen with a door connecting to the store room where housemates shopping and other items will be delivered. Also in the main living area is another seating area with a few comfy sofas. Into the bedroom, we've kept the same beds as last year, though this time there's nine, but we still have two double beds. But this year some of the walls are made of glass, which connects into the main living area, taking away any kind of privacy. There's also a bathroom connected next door with a shower, though that still gives little privacy as there's a triangular window behind one of the beds. Into the garden, which is much smaller than last years. It still has the pool and jacuzzi, some seating, a barbeque, and even outdoor showers. We also have the gnomes and flamingos still roaming the garden, and they have also been joined by some stone rabbits. There is also a small indoor, rainbow coloured seating room with disco lights, two TVs, and a small bathroom. So you may be wondering why the house is so big yet the living area is so small. Well there are two sections, inside and outside the house, that will be reserved for certain tasks for the housemates, which can be set up without having to lock the housemates away in another area. In another change to things, housemates will exit the house via the garden where they will make their way to the studio to be interviewed by our host, Rachel Absolom. The Studio (by Adrian Stapleton): Something else also under a new design this series is the studio. Firstly there's the front area, where Rachel Absolom will be interviewing our evictees and our eventual winner. Going through the door on the right is the post eviction leisure room, then going round the studio we come to a red themed room, which will be used for the Review Show. Then finally we have the computer room, with the staff monitoring the house 24 hours a day. |
